As you look at the pictures and take it all in... what you see here is hundreds of Stampin' Up! products showcased in a candy store! Since the roll out of the new colors, lots of things have changed in regard to new accessories, DSP and ribbon that highlight the new colors. Many of these items have been brought to life in this incredible display that is good enough to eat! Some if it you can eat, which is even better! I took almost 100 pictures of this area alone and will share them with you throughout the year as they apply to holidays and special occasions. The full display for this group is pictured below. Love it!
I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator sharing some creative inspiration! Thanks for visiting!

Congrats on ten years!
I think it's only fair that when the sistas get up on stage... we have to blog the photos! Here is Carmen, Lee Ann and I marching across this grand stage for our ten year recognition. My husband saw this picture and said, "I'd never thought I would see you stick to one thing. You must really love it." Where has he been? I think it's code for "Can't believe you have all of that crafting crap and you still use it." Carmen, Lee Ann and I are all sidelines, meaning that our uplines are no longer with the company or aren't active. We have managed to stay connected and now have a really strong group of stamping friends. Congratulations to both of you. I am so thankful that we have met along the way. Sera
Vintage distressed simplicity
Here is a thank you card I created for my traveling companions for this years convention. I used Newsprint DSP, dotted scalloped ribbon border punch, 5-petal flower punch, clear rhinestone brad, dimensionals, krumb cake, early espresso and cherry cobbler cardstock and the sentiment from Vintage Vogue. I wet and crumbled the petals then spread them back out for extra texture and sponged crumb cake all over the card and DSP for a distressed look. Not sure if you recognize that this layout is mirrored after one of the swaps we received (black & yellow). Have a great day and weekend! I'm off to Relay today. Angie

Congratulations, 5 years for Heidi!
As an SU demo... the company recognizes demonstrators for certain awards, one being longevity. Here is Heidi walking across the stage as she is recognized for 5 years of stamping greatness! If you look closely you can see her on the big screen in the background as well! Congratulations, Heidi! We are very lucky to have you in our group!

Flower Power Fun!
Convention, 2010!
Yes, it was 70s night, this isn't just a time warp. Don't we look great?! It was a fun night all around and Angie won a stamp set and some ribbon, awesome! There are plenty of pictures, we'll share those another time... you get the idea. What a terrific week. We'll be sure to share more highlights in the days to come. Sera

Multi-purpose box
A few weeks back, Sera took us on an adventure across the border and we created this nifty little box with handles that will hold an ink pad and marker just perfectly. A couple weeks ago, I had my club make one using black and riding hood red. The 2 DSP's are Newsprint and Love Letter. I also used the new gigantic scalloped circle and the 1 3/4" circle punch AND the awesome new dotted scalloped ribbon border punch. Can't tell that I like that one .... I used the stamp set On A Pedestal and some black 5/8" grosgrain ribbon. For my July club hostess, I personalized some notecards with her initial (don't have that photo since she has the cards) and some coordinating Love Letter DSP. This was a great pattern (thanks Sera) and would be a great and easy project to share! Have a great week! Angie

Convention Highlights!
Today was a great day so far! Here we are at the SU! headquarters in Riverton, Utah. Touring the facility is always an awesome event. The staff was wonderful and they all took the time to share different parts of the building with us. One cool thing... Heidi and I found our cards posted in one of the offices... what a great surprise! There are some great displays and rooms for us to see. The third picture below is one of those rooms... awesome! We miss all of the sistas that aren't here with us!

Convention 2010 has begun!
Well, I was warned! They told me that this group was a little, well, crazy, and they weren't kidding! And they are very traditional!
Apparently it is tradition to eat at Olive Garden ASAP when you get here to Salt Lake City! So, we did that! And it was yummy!
Now we find ourselves finishing swaps, ironing clothes, blogging and working on some MDS tutorials. And of course, getting ready for the next day of craziness. Shopping, learning and perhaps a tour of the Riverton Campus where all the stamping fun comes together!
Heidi has already tried to scope out the best way to get in line first on Thursday. She is on a mission!!!!! Watch for more! LeeAnn

Convention Memories 2009 #2
Angie is below pointing to one of her cards that made the conv ention board last year! What a thrill for her! Heidi recognized her card and sure enough, that was it! Yahoo! At convention we are so fortunate to see thousands of cards and samples. It makes creating our own workshop cards an absolute snap! Great work, Angie! Last year we were surprised with Build-A-Bear and the new line that SU! teamed up with to create awesome stamps and big shot products. Each demonstrator at convention was able to purchase this bear... she is the softest bear I have ever squeezed. She looks great in my stamp room!
Here is a shot of us on the first day. It wasn't very crowded in the convention hall and we spent a long time there that day and it was worth every minute to be there early. Yes... see the walking cast? You don't see the wheel chair... and thanks to my friends who pushed me around all week. They did get a few perks as a result... but I am running this year! Sera
Apple Blossom
Since I'm not packing for convention I thought I would take a little time to play with the new colors and stamp sets. I jumped on Apple Blossom as part of the hostess preorder and I love it.
I liked this card because it looks like DSP but it's actually homemade background paper! River Rock, Marina Mist, and Early Espresso layered with a background stamp and the Apple Blossom flowers.
I will be sending a pack of these with envelopes to my best friend who also happens to be a teacher. Lots of layering took a long time and I'm not sure I got the dimensions right (I CASE'd this off of Splitcoast with a few changes). It is 7 x 4 and uses Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, and Daffodil Delight. It just screams "teacher" to me and looks really crisp. You girls all have fun in Salt Lake!! Nicolle

Convention Memories 2009
As you can see... we have a blast at convention each year. Above, Angie was chosen to be on stage. She had to make a card with a certain amount of materials in 10 minutes. She is explaining it to the crowd in this picture. Of course, it was awesome and she received a FREE stamp set! Heidi and Carmen are all smiles in the next photo. On the first day as we shopped in Momento Mall and saw all of the sneak peek items for the upcoming year. We always arrive a day early so we can soak it all in! So, all of you former demonstrators out there... we would love to have you join our group, see below! Contact us today! Sera

New colors!
These two colors, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso are my favorites. I've used them both quite a bit and this sweet scoops set showcases them perfectly! I never thought my Chocolate Chip would ever have take a back seat! I'm leaving for my workshop in ten minutes but had to share a card quickly. I plan to start those convention swaps tonight... and would hate to get side-tracked with blog hopping. Hee hee! Tomorrow and the next few days, it's back by popular demand! Convention memories! Sera

Sweet Scoops Samples!
I have had the best time with this set, Sweet Scoops. As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to earn this set free this past winter, yahoo! I've made a bunch of samples to share and here are a few. Of course, I cheat because I'm not cutting out these little buggers, so I had to get "extra" creative. The first sample uses the tag punches and aside from the floating ice cream, the card is cute. If you have any SU earth elements buttons from about five years back, they match Early Espresso perfectly! The 3x3 love notes are copied right from page ten in the current mini catalog. Instead of cutting the soft serve, I simply stamped them side by side and if there are any imperfections, I used the oval punch as the bowl and it covered the scoops perfectly. A tip... when using the oval, turn it sideways in your cutter and line it up with the one inch mark. That means you will only cut off a little slice at the top which is just enough to make your perfect bowl. Love it! Sera

Graduation wrap up
Here are some graduation cards I made months ago when I didn't have anything graduation! I came up with these cards and they saved the day. The "journey" stamp in the Define Your Life set was a perfect add to a few of the cards as well. It's amazing what some letters and the school colors will do... they were a hit! So really now... time for convention swaps. Sera

Happy Fourth everyone!
I'm sitting in the hotel lobby catching up on things and realized I hadn't shared my 4th of July cards! So here they are! We are having a great time on vacation and things are going great. I'm almost ready to get back! Not quite, although, I'm having convention dreams, a great sign! We have a full day planned with the boys so I had better get to it. I delivered catalogs before I left... do you love it? I do too! Sera
