Apple tags

Wouldn't you love to bob for these apples?  How cute is this set up?    Many of these apple tags are made with Halloween sets both in the IB&C as well as the Holiday mini.  Too cute.  I want to haul in my wheelbarrow and set it right in the living room if I could have this awesome decor!  Credit goes to Angie as this is her awesome photo!

Two Card Friday

Two cards today, both created with the Gently Falling set.  The DSP is called Well Worn and is a perfect decorative paper for fall.  I used the markers and colored right on the stamp for the leaf outlines.  You may see a hint of blue in there as that is Not Quite Navy, a non-traditional fall color, Love that!  Thanks for all of the well wishes for the soccer team, they are doing great!  Special birthday greetings to sista Becky this week!  We plan to get some stamping time this weekend!  Yahoo!  Sera

Bring on the Bats

It's time.  I've decided to get ready for fall!  I love fall decorating.  The weather has been cold enough, and warm enough both as of late so it's time to get in the mood.  Plus, we are taking the boys to their first Vikings game today!  It's a surprise!  I cannot wait!  Above is a  card that was on display at convention.  I snapped the shot for the bats.  I love this wheel, bring on the bats (120326) and after I saw this cute and easy card.  The colors included are rich razzleberry, pear pizazz and so saffron.  A great non-traditional Halloween mix!  Enjoy the day!  Sera

Resisting...

As Angie would say, "I have been resisting this set..."  She always says that when we give her a hard time about not owning a stamp set that is totally her.  In this case, I have been resisting this set and then Carmen pulls out this card at our downline meeting the other night... wowza, I love it!  How many more flower sets do I need?  Apparently, one more!  The set is Field Flowers (112760).  This card was created with Cajun Craze, More Mustard and Pear Pizazz... very nice!  I do enjoy the fall swap each year.  Many more to come!  Thank you, Carmen!  Sera

Loving these Leaves!

I love this set, Gently Falling.  Of all the leaf sets that SU has had over the years, this one is my fave!  The inspiration from this card came from the color coach.  I looked up rich razzleberry and pumpkin pie and old olive were listed... and this is what I came up with!  Love it!  Thanks to the sistas as we celebrated fall at our demonstrator meeting tonight.  Thanks to Angie for taking on the mainstage and of course... to the sistas for all of the great inspiration.  What an awesome night!  Sera

Spooky Thoughts

Starting to think about Halloween?  Me too!  Once the weather cools off (it can wait, however) it's time to start decorating for fall.  In this picture you can see a number of items that are showcased in the holiday mini catalog.  A few things of note are the stamp set, Piece of Poison (123752), the set of Quick Accents called, Pick your Poison (124263) and the DSP, Pick your Poison (124001).   Check out these items on pages 8 - 10 in the holiday mini catalog!  They are boo-tiful!  Sera

September 10, 2011

Hello everyone!  I figured out how to do some scheduled posts so I shouldn't be "out" for so long now.  It still requires that I get my act together, but we'll see how it goes!  The card above was made with the Gently Falling ( 123802) set.  You can see that in the new Holiday mini Catalog link at the right.  The DSP is Well Worn (122359) in the Idea Book and Catalog.  The Holiday is one of my favorites of all time and I've done some real damage with all of the great fall items this year.  Plus, wait until you get your hands on the Christmas product!  Yahoo!  Hope you are enjoying the great weather.  It sure is making for a wonderful soccer season!  Sera
