Holiday Decor

I made these for teacher gifts this year. I have a few more to share as well. The DSP is from long ago and the letters are our current mini cat, serif essentials. I DO LOVE THESE LETTERS! I bought some small ornaments for the final touch and they really add some color and texture! The teachers have enjoyed them! Sorry about the focus problem. You don't want to know what time it was when I took this picture! Sera

Gift Card holder

Are you sick of me yet? This is a gift card I created using a design by Tori Wild. Fun and easy to do with the Deer Friends and Best Wishes & More stamp sets, Ski Slope DSP & Sizzix scallop circle die from the Pennant Bigz XL die. Enjoy ~ Angie

Poinsettia Sparkle

This card was inspired by Laurie F (blog Inspired Designs). Using Baroque Motifs and the 5-petal flower, designer label, 2 large oval punches. Colors are mellow moss, riding hood red, pink pirouette. Iridescent Ice, versamarker, gold brads. Happy New Year! ~Angie

I created this shaker card using a technique I saw on stampwithheather blog (10-4-08 post). The card uses a 4" coaster covered with Frosty Day DSP (clear plastic between those layers). I used the snowman from the Punch Pals set (adhered to back), tangerine tango striped ribbon, key tag, scalloped edge and 1 3/4" circle punch, white gel pen, bashful blue & choc chip CS. The snow is micro beads and a pinch of dazzling diamonds glitter. HAPPY NEW YEAR! ~Angie

I found more tags!

I love tags of all sizes! Many of the sistas have mentioned to me that this has been the most convenient swap ever! These tags have been great for all of us to use! Tags, schmags, I haven't started wrapping yet! I did however receive an order that I placed a short time ago. It has the Valentine bundle in it! My favorite holiday! We aren't there yet, in fact next week, we need to blog our secret santa gifts! Can't wait to see! Sera

Christmas Party sharing

These are some of the creations shared at the sista Christmas party last month. I believe that the long note is Angie's and the tic tac holder is Carmen's. Correct me if I'm wrong girls! Great ideas! I've been cracking the whip on teacher gifts and secret santa items... I can't wait to share! Plus I received my secret sista gift! It is sooo awesome! I'll share that too! Sera

Birthday Basket

There is a rule that says if someone has a birthday close to Christmas, the last thing one should give is something "Christmassy." So how about "summery?" This was made for my friend Karel. I made the 12x12 box/basket (Thanks, Heidi for the pattern long ago on our blog) and put some matching cards inside and it was a hit! I used my Bigshot letters- I LOVE THOSE LETTERS! and a retired scrappin kit, some old in colors and Voila! This was so fun to do and I whipped it up during a football game. I even watched the game some since we were winning and I still finished it quickly. Now back to the Christmas things! OH - Happy 40th Birthday Sista Carolyn! Sera

Tag, You're it! 7

Look at these! If you look carefully, can you name the stamp sets used with these tags? The colors? The punches? These tags are 5 years old I believe. It sure has been fun finding these treasures! We are finishing up Tag, You're it! Week, so get your Christmas creations ready to blog next week! Sera

Tag! You're it! 6

Pretend that you reading this on a Friday. These tags are the standard size that we are used to (pre-stamping for all of us) and don't they look great? I loved the Alpine ribbon Originals. In fact I just got it recently! If you can see the shine there, this flower was clear embossed, very clever! Sera

Tag! You're it! 5

This is a bunch of tag pictures that my son put together. He thought this bunch was the best. He has everything here from old to new in this group! I appreciated the help! Sera

Tag! You're it! 4

This has been a very popular stamp set for many hostesses this year! The images with the circle sentiments around the outside are everywhere. Even SU! has (or recently retired) a few. The look isn't complete without circle or scallop punches for layering! Great work sistas! Only a few days left of Tag! You're it! week, so feel free to share my deer friends! Hee Hee! Sera

Tag! You're it! 3

Now this stamp set is a lot more recent! This was one of my "I'm not CRAZY about this set" set, but I do love it. I've had a great time making some fun things with this bird! And thanks to Angie the big scallop (scallop circle) is on my Christmas list. I love the size of these tags as well. It's fun to do the large tags sometimes. Larger tag, larger gift my son says. Okay ladies we are almost midway through our tag week, so start getting your secret santa sista gifts ready. Take some photos so we can blog them after the 20th or so. Details on all of that later. Plus we'll have some new blog ideas for the first of the year as well! Sera

Tag, You're it! 2

Here are some retired gems. I remember that this set and the hostess set were gone in a flash, yet I have both of these sets and still love them now. One of these tags has been in my tag box for a couple of years! Oh by the way... Congrats everyone- we hit 5,000 posts! How cool are we? I suppose that means blog candy which is the "word(s)" in blog world. I'll have to think of something (while I'm on my snow day tomorrow, wink, wink). Sera

Stampin' in Alaska

Talk about a "Stamp-A-Stack"
As I mentioned in my email I was asked to help a group of families make cards to send to their family members in Iraq to the tune of up to 150 kids! I pulled out all sorts of old card stock since this isn't an event to sell things at and recycled! These are the samples of the various "covers" I ended up with. There is currently NO stamping on them. The kiddos will get to do that and then write a message to mom or dad in the inside. It won't make me money but being around all these families with people gone is hard! Makes me appreciate coming home for Christmas. Check out all the DSP I used...some of it is 2 years old! Click the pictures to make them big to see all that fun stuff! Happy Holidays, Nicolle!

Tag, you're it! week!

This is the first post of the week for Tag, you're it! week. Post your Christmas tags all week for us to oogle over. I will post what we swapped, but have no clue who made what, so credit goes to all! The tags pictured were made two years ago and I was so pumped when I found them! I can use them this year! This set is Holiday Woodcuts, one of my Christmas faves.

Festival of Trees tags

This was our tree for the Festival of Trees this year, Glow of the Country Snowman. Of course the picture isn't all that great, but the tree was a huge hit. Part of that success was due to the awesome tags that I had on the gifts. Many of the tags that we swapped at our sista Christmas party were used on the packages and we received many compliments. I wanted to make sure I passed that along to all of the sistas! The gifts were wrapped in brown (garbage-bag-like-paper) wrapping paper, very country and the tags made it all come together! I'll share more of those tags in future posts! Sera

Birthday Banner

My son's birthday was last month and we celebrated at Thanksgiving time. He is seven so the banner is hardly that big of a deal, but I was pumped to make it! I found some retired DSP and put everything together with the bigshot. It was fun to get out the Wild Wasabi again! I've made a few banners and this is the first with the top note die. The whole thing took about 40 minutes or less to make and it looked great in the window! Sera

Thanksgiving- Last Call

This awesome Thanksgiving creation rocks! Becky created this gem for Turkey day as a small table centerpiece/decoration. LOVE IT! It was on their table at the expo and I snapped a quick photo. Lots of great holiday options with this easy project! If I remember correctly, it folds into a card size option that mails in an invitation envelope. Does that sound right? It's a great idea Becky! Off to make this a Christmas project I think! Sera
