New Big Shot Die

Here is Carmen just after she tried the new O Christmas tree pop up die that comes out on September 1. Looks awesome doesn't it? At convention, we had a chance to "play" with a few of the new toys and we had a great time. We were so excited to use some of the new items from the new holiday mini catalog. You will love it! Stay tuned! Sera

Convenion bag accessories

I have seen these all over and decided to adapt these to a "bag marker" for convention this year. I made them out of chip board and the scallop circle die #2. This is razzleberry lemonade DSP of course, love it! Sera

Decor Elements Carafe

I had some fun using Decor Elements on something other than walls. I used both whisper white and pretty in pink flowers and it was a cinch. I happened to come across some oval marbles that matched- clear, frosted, both pink and white. They were a great find. I tied some ribbon around the bottom to add texture and to fill in an empty space. Each carafe was a gift for my sista friends that attended convention with me. How fun! Sera

Happy 40th Big Shot Ornament

One of the sistas turns 40 this week and to celebrate we had a surprise birthday party for her. As you can see, she has a fondness for Diet Pepsi (which is an understatement). We brought 40 cans/bottles/2 litres, etc. Our gift should get her through the week at least. Hee hee. Carmen made her an ornament using the Big Shot and the SU! snowflake die. Isn't it awesome? This was an idea inspired by a convention 3D swap. It was made from a pop can and some silver cord. She attached the snowflakes together with mini glue dots. Depending on where those glue dots are attached... the snowflakes can be separated to make more of a 3D ornament as well. In the photo, it's flat. Does that make sense? At looks great either way! Have a great birthday, Angie! Sera

What a day!

This is just what all of you stampers out there were looking for when you went blog hopping today I'm sure. I just couldn't resist. SU! is coming out with a Farve stamp. Just so you know. I'll post again this evening. Perhaps some shots from our post convention party. I have cleaned out my convention photos, just under 1000 so lots to share... Thanks for your patience as I started "work" again. Need to get back in a blogging routine! Thank you for letting me share this with you. Sera

My Digital Studio is coming soon!

Heidi is here soaking all of the information in regarding the new digital scrapbooking line that debuts this fall. How exciting! As you can see, there are cards, calendars, and all different sizes of books and other photo keepsakes. The software is quick and easy to use and the best part is that it includes Stampin' Up! exclusive images and colors- there are over 2,000 images! The are customizable templates, or you can start from scratch, it's up to you! Look for it within the next month or two! Sera

Convention Updates

Hello from Salt Lake City! We are having a blast here at convention and are amazed at how fast the time goes by. Those of you who know us will not be surprised to hear that we have been up way before dawn and first in line both mornings by 5:00 am. Of course we've secured our seats in the front row as tradition. We have a few highlights to share with you. Here is Angie showing off her awesome Christmas card. She was approached by a Stampin' Up! employee and aksed if she would like a free stamp set. The only catch was she had to use that set to create a card. There was a table filled with scraps and you had 10 minutes to come up with your design. The set she got was Teddies and Trains and is part of the Just For Kids Campaign. Here is a group shot of the Sistas the morning before our first general session. Front row of course - such a great place to be :) And here I am winning the new Beary Best Friends and Beary Nice Wishes stamp sets along with the Pawsitively Prints DSP from the Build a Bear Workshop collection. This collection is featured for the first time in the new Holiday Mini Catalog which starts September 1st. My first time winning at convention - how fun!!!
Oh and I almost forgot to mention the new digital scrapbooking package called My Digital Studio. We got to see a demo of the product and you are going to LOVE IT!!! You can use it to create scrapbook pages, cards, calendars and more. Release date is some time in September - watch for more details. Can't wait to share lots more of the excitment of convention soon! ~Heidi

Convention Memory #10

The best memory I have of the past nine conventions is the time I've spent with the girls I go with. We have such a blast and we have become great friends... that's what it's all about isn't it? This experience wouldn't be the same without the sistas! We leave now for convention 2009 in about 30 minutes. I'm so excited! We'll be sure to post along the way! Sera

Convention Memory #9

Last year was a monumental convention with tons of announcements. The Big Shot single-handedly took over the convention and we all went crazy! It's been a great add to the SU product line! Shelli debuted her line of "her favorites" and then showed us a few as she demoed on stage. It's always so awesome to see her stamp and create! Below was the last general session and as you can see here.... it was mayhem as the UPS man brought free stamps for all of us. Love it! Sera

Convention Memories #7 & 8

I promised 10 convention memories, and I was on the road yesterday & today (ten hours in the car) so I missed my post. However, below and above... we're having fun in Denver in 2007. Dream Big was an awesome year! If there is a Cheesecake factory within an hour, we're there. In fact we got there and Shelli and her family arrived moments later. We were good. We let them be. That was an odd evening for us since the 35W bridge went down shortly after this first picture below. It's been two years already! This was Kristine's first convention experience and she loved it as well. It was fun to sport our PJs on make and take night. We even got a picture with Thuril Bailey! I was so excited! In fact, for all of you sports fans out there... he was the one that told me that Kevin Garnett had been traded. He told me right after that photo. Crazy!
