I (Heart) Hearts Stamp Set
These pictures below are cards made with this new set found in the Occasions Mini catalog... the link is to the right. The first one is a cute Valentine that Shelli made and below is a card made by Lindsey Mahon. Two very different styles. It's a very cute set that we all talked about the entire leadership conference... a have-to-have!

Brads, buttons and felt accessories
These pictures don't quite do these "fancies" justice, but look at all of the fun embellishments for your cards, 3D items and scrapbook pages. They are an inexpensive way to jazz up your projects. The Sending Love Epoxy brads were everywhere at Leadership. Small, cute hearts are very "in" right now. I love working with the Sweet Pea stitched flowers too. As you can see from the display above they are very fun! I may have to put them all in a frame just to make that! Sera

More Occasions Mini Catalog Highlights
In looking at these two pictures you can see we had a great time with the set, All My Heart. The picture below is part of the scrapbook page we made and the accent here is so cute. The stamp is the large flower and it fits perfectly inside the new flower punch, extra large fancy flower. The pretty in pink flower is layered on top of a rose red flower made with the same punch. You can see how the same punch was used in the cards above as well. The other colors include bashful blue, chocolate chip and old olive. Another bunch of awesome stamps that deserves
a second look in the Occasions Mini Catalog are the Dot Dot Dot or the Solid Stripes stamps. These stamps are a one stamp set that are very versatile. If you look a little closer you'll see one other stamp called A to Z on the pink flower! Check these out on page 42. The link is to the right. Enjoy! Sera

Occasions Mini Catalog Highlights
I admit it! When this mini catalog was available to demonstrators... I wasn't that excited. However, after some time "playing" with some of the stamp sets and accessories... I've changed my mind! Fox and Friends is the stamp set below. The larger monkey is a decor element that matches the set, very cute. After many years of requests and product testing moments, SU has unveiled thier new clear mount stamp set line. The quality of these clear blocks is amazing. I was very impressed with them when I had a chance to stamp with them at leadership. Pam Morgan called the clear blocks her "jewels." They are pretty shiny. How cute do they look in this decorated box? I am going to purchase a set and give them a try.

Home from Leadership
We are arrived home safe and sound! I walked in the door at 2:01am and I'm sure I was asleep before the sistas left my neighborhood! We are so excited and have so many things to share. Leadership is an entire different experience that makes the event special all on it's own. I cannot compare it to convention in the sense that not all of the sistas were there, but each of us absolutely loved every minute we were together with all of the people at SU (and I even went to a Mexican restaurant). I only hope we can ALL get the chance to go together. Above, is a picture of one of the make and takes we made on Wednesday night. We received this set, With all my Heart, in our convention bag (which is the best SU bag I have ever received). We made two of this card and then donated one to RMHC on our way out. You can see that this is a great picture of Carmen with her FREE stamp set that she won at the regional! How awesome! Her name was 3rd on the list and we were screaming for her! Yahoo! The first picture was taken right after we ran in on the first day, but we didn't RUN! We fast-walked and got to our seats with no trouble, right in the front. There was plenty of time for pictures and Shannon W and Carrie C were kind enough to have a shot with us. How fun! They both presented a few times and were terrific. It was a great week... but time to share some samples and new ideas from the mini-catalog! Sera

CARMEN WON!!!!
After many give aways going to other lucky demonstrators, FINALLY, Carmen won the "Messages for Mom" set in the new Mini! Shelli demoed with this VERY set. So Carmen is ready to roll at her next workshop. Yes, Bonnie Thurber gave it to her.
We had a great day of stamping....oh wait, we didn't stamp everything. SHOCKER. our projects are not done. BUT our first challenge to ourselves is to have these done by our next meeting, which is coming up. Watch your mail for more information Stampin' Sistas!
We had a great day stamping.

Last day at Leadership
Hello everyone! As you can see we had a super awesome day again! Below, Carmen and Lee Ann are sporting their new quilt squares that SU gave us. How nice was that? They were made with the Big Shot. We will explain all of that when we get home. Shelli demonstrated for us again, and even though this shot isn't in perfect focus, it captures a great moment of her smiling and having a great time sharing some of the things she made. She did a wonderful job!
After that she shared one more card with us and no one was sure what set it was made with. Ha Ha... she then announced that it was a set from her collection what was to be in the next mini catalog... and that she had one for each of us! Everyone went crazy! It was so fun. Thank you, Shelli! What a way to close Leadership. This is our last post for now... we will attend the regional and be home later tomorrow night. We have lots of things to share with all of you. I'm afraid it takes about 18 minutes to download one picture for this blog and I've got swaps to get done for tomorrow so we'll chat later. We miss all of the sistas! Sera

A full day at Leadership!
Here is how we started the day, swaps, swaps and more swaps. Isn't this great? The cardfronts have been wonderful and we were thrilled to see SAB cards and Ocass mini samples. It's clear everyone is excited for spring! The doors opened and we walked in and sat in the front and had a the best time doing more swapping and taking all sorts of photos. Below are the sistas... one of my favorite shots of the day. We were very close to the stage and it was beautiful. Very Shelliesque. The presentations were awesome as were the messages and sneak peeks! I LOVE WHAT I DO!
It was time for food and we went downstairs and walked into paradise (or as close as you can get in a convention hall). We had a beautiful sit down lunch and it was awesome. We ran into our "front runner" convention friends Lisa and Mandy. It was great to see them! Yes, there is fruit "sauce" on the chocolate, and I ate it. Smile. Right now, the sistas are taking naps and visiting at the same time. We have dessert plans with Carmen's cousins who live in the area so it will be a great night again! We'll post soon! PS- Angie and Heidi - Brent Steele bagged your MM purchases this afternoon. Thought you would love to hear that! Sera
Leadership Gifts
You've seen these awesome organizers on a number of blogs I'm sure. I changed the directions, so I could do a few things differently and this is what I came up with. I made one for each of us to use during the week. Right now, we are getting ready to head over to the convention center for the first general session. We are pretty excited, especially since the forcast for Phoenix today is "warmer then expected for this time of year." Love that!

More From Phoenix
And then later, we saw the same hands showing us how large the chip board books are...much larger than any of us expected!
Who, who do these hands belong too?
Here we are in Phoenix, AZ!
Hello everyone! We made it to Arizona this morning shortly after 10:30am local time and we've been running ever since. We adore our hotel! It's 100 ft to the convention center, love that. And yes coffee drinking friends... there are plenty of "star" options right here for our indulgence. We had lunch first and then headed over for our first round of fun. Carmen and Lee Ann are sporting the new bags, very cute!
Memento Mall has it's fair share of goodies... we'll keep that a secret so we have some surprises for our sistas back home. No peeking on other blogs! Notice that photo... no lines! Then, we had a great NEW punch tutorial and we had a chance to try the NEW clear mount stamps! Very cool. There were a number of demonstrations to attend and we saw a few and we'll catch up on the others tonight during our make and take time. We are having a blast so far and the weather is incredible! Sunshine, sunshine, sunshine! We'll post again this evening after our next batch of fun! Sera

Happy New Year!
Happy 2010 everyone! Hope you had a nice holiday, safe and sound! I managed to catch a cold, lucky me, so I'm hoping that warm AZ air zaps it out of me... or Brett Favre and a win from him would do it too. Smiles! These two cards were made with January in mind... above is my card and below is sista Becky's. That is such a cute stamp, I've had a great time with it! As we look at the new year, it's time for changes at SU! too. New mini catalogs, big sales... January 5th is the big day. Stay tuned for the links to the new stamp sets later today! Sera
