We went to STATE!
After the soccer season ends, it's always a difficult time for me. I've had this identity as coach since camps began in June and it's unreal that it is over. This year however, we made it to the state tournament and finished in 4th place. This team is the 4th best team in the state of Minnesota! How exciting is that? The team asked what I was going to do now... don't you worry, I have a Big Shot, I have plenty to do! However, I've been neglecting plenty of things, so here is my "have to do" top ten list.
10. Fold the mountain of clean clothes that have been collecting dust in their baskets since August.
9. Get my tail end back on my Wii Fit. She won't be nice, I'm sure.
8. Clean out the summer clothes.
7. Clean out the trunk- old smelly, wet, moldy soccer clothes anyone?
6. Let my husband out of the house (don't worry about him, hunting starts soon).
5. I have 17 hours of Dancing with the Stars on Tivo.
4. Catch up on the fall birthdays and events I've missed- lots of cards to be mailed!
3. Dust off my stamp area, big shot and all the new dies that are still in packages and get stamping!
2. I'm baaaack! Clean up this blog... it needs a makeover!
1. If you know me at all, you know what this is- get the Christmas trees up!

White Spooky Spider Frame
I know I have a Spooky Spider in black on the treat jar I posted a while ago - but by now you all know I LOVE Halloween. So being as these little gems (Spooky Spider Decor Element in black or white and 3 different sizes) will only be availalble until October 31, I of course had to take advantage of this. This white spider DE is the small size. Maybe I should take a pic of the frame by the treat jar so you can see the size difference. The black mat in this frame has a 5x7 opening. I cut a piece of Ghostly Greetings DSP to fit about this size and then taped it to the back of the mat. The white spider works perfect on this Basic Gray and Black pattern. Plus with the web already pictured all I had to do was line up the spider thread with the pre-printed web and Shazam! I was done. And of course I cut out "spooky" again and adhered that to the mat. All this is under the glass so the surface of the frame can be dusted and cleaned as needed. Our new Decor Elements really are awesome! Can't wait to play some more. ~Heidi

Ski Slope 3D Photo Frame
I purchased this great frame at a local store and couldn't wait to use it for just the right project which turned out to be for a very special birthday gift. Super simple to adhere three different patterns from the Ski Slope DSP pack and Red Riding Hood Taffeta Ribbon to the included matting inside the frame. I then took the chipboard letters we were given at convention "j-o-y", sponged on whisper white craft ink , heat & stick powder and then dazzling diamonds glitter. I used tombow glue to adhere the letters to the paper, let dry then put it all together. I love how it turned out and plan to make more of these! Enjoy your weekend ~ Angie
