NSR, Leadership 2012 7, Mi Tierra

We went on a long walk through San Antonio on our last night in Texas, and Don found this place, Mi Tierra.  It was nuts!  The wait was over an hour long and of course, we waited.  Just the atmopshere alone made the time go by quickly.  Carmen and Don had great mexican food, of course, I had a burger, but it was incredible!  Great find, Don!  Sera

Apothecary Art

I have just started playing with this new set.  I saw some great samples last month and this card was on a display board.  I noticed that it was a little different with the main shape going vertically.  Clever stampers!  Those of you that know me may be laughing at the fact that this set is not me in so many ways... stepping out of the box, ladies!  More to come!  Sera

This is a card that Shelli demonstrated for us on stage.  Many of these great items are in the Occasions Mini Catalog, with the main focus being the Elegant Bird (Die) (125593) in the Twitterpated Product Suite.



This was a cute moment on stage after Shelli's presentation and some other remarks from Sara.  Sterling was invited to say grace before lunch, but he couldn't resist a moment or two of his own banter before the prayer.  So fun!  I will share a few more Leadership photos this week mixed in with plenty of new creations.  That Occasions Mini Catalog rocks!  Sera



Sweet Cake from Sweet Shop

Here are a few Leadership samples of one of my new fave sets in the Occasions Mini Catalog, Sweet Cake (125490).  The entire product suite debuted in the mini catalog recently, called Sweet Shop.  These images are so fun and as you can see, they were a big hit at Leadership.  The suite includes, stamp sets, DSP, designer brads, stickers, bakers twine and more... and of course, it all matches perfectly!  Sera

Lee Ann is putting up her card for the card contest.  It was an awesome card that just missed the cut!

There were plenty of awesome displays this year.  All of the cards were on clothespins which was a cute idea... and they were all contest cards, so that was a neat change.  Lots of the new items were on display and of course the ideas were super!  Yes, plenty of cupcakes!  Sera

Leadership 2012, 4

So it was my first Manager's Reception and I was pretty excited.  What a great event! We were entertained by Chinese Acrobats as we celebrated the Chinese New Year.  They were unbelievable!  I met some new friends from Missouri and we had a great time! We received a new stamp set and some great SU chop sticks as we left the theater.  So awesome! Later, I was able to get a few pictures in the Make and Take area as well.  The Blossom Builders are big for Spring!  We ended our evening at the famous cafe on the river, the name I cannot remember, but all of the colorful umbrellas are there.  We sat with some friends from Illinois and had a great time!  We headed  back to our room to stamp swaps of course... why do I do that?  I had 8 pounds of stamping things that I brought along this trip, I never learn!  Sera

After the Managers walk on stage, we ran into BJ!  Great to see her!  Lots of great announcements this morning.  New Catalog announcements and awesome new products to come in March!  Very Exciting!

We had a great time in Texas!  Here is Carmen and Lee Ann as we are off to the convention center.  We are just leaving the IHOP after a full breakfast, like no other!  Look at that river, in the middle of the mall!  It was so cool!



We caught up with some old friends, not that the friends are old, but it's been a very long time since we have seen Martha!  What a treat.  We were able to hang out with her for most of the conference.  Hope to see her in April at our sista retreat!  More Texas pictures to come this weekend (computer is fixed)!  Sera
