In color craze

This card showcases the new In Color, summer starfruit!  It's one of those colors, love it or hate it, it's everywhere, especially with the basic gray as seen above.  I've noticed this color combo in two weddings this summer, so it's the latest new fad!  Leave it to Stampin' Up! to get it just right!  The stamp set Mr. & Mrs. (126663) is the only stamp set you need to create this lovely wedding card!  Enjoy!  Sarah

I am, Convention 2012

Having a great time at convention.  Kristine was enjoying the Riverton home office as this was her first visit.  We saw all sorts of great decorations and on the picture above, you see awesome creations with my new favorite Bigz XL die, Designer Rosette (125594).  I love to use it for center pieces and party decor.  Super Fun! Convention 2012

Hello!  Convention 2012 was full of great moments again this year.  Here was most of the group at the home office in Riverton (we are missing Angie in this photo).  What a great week had by all!  Congratulations to Carmen who was a $20,000 personal sales marcher this year!  Great job, Carms!  Kristine and Martha also joined the group this year for this awesome event!  What a great trip!  Sera

In Color 2012-2014

These great birthday cards were stamped using the new In Colors, featuring summer starfruit, midnight muse and primrose petals.  The matching DSP Patio Party (126916) is phenomenal!  If you look closely at the card on the right, you will see a new embellishment, the new In Color Dahlias (127556). They are a great alternative to a button or brad, very fun!  Special thanks to Lee Ann who made the sweet card on the left using the new stamp set, Make a Cake (126740). 

After a looooong dry spell - I stamped today!  I wanted to use the awesome new DSP Be Of Good Cheer and came up with this.  I used two stamp sets (Chock Full of Cheer & Snow Much Fun) along with the rockin' new color Gumball Green and favorite of mine Cherry Cobbler.  Accessories include Rich Regal Designer buttons, Gumball Green Satin Stitched Ribbon, Framelit Label Collection, Basic Rhinestone Jewels.  And here I was thinking I'd rather have a nap! :)  Happy stamping to you all!  Angie

Milwaukee Regional

Here are a few shots from our Milwaukee regional last March, two months ago today!  Yes, March, a long time ago it seems.  Everyone had a great time stamping away.  They even stamped their make and takes!  The picture above was shows off a stunning display of quilted items that we all plan to try.  Hee Hee, or have Angie try for us, hee hee!  It was a great time with the sistas!  Sera

Paper Doily

Both of these cards were a part of the samples that were shared at our sista retreat last month.  Each card has a different/creative use for the paper doily (a large sizzlit die, 125592).  The top card is the negative image and the bottom card is the actual "punched" piece of cardstock.  My favorite use for this die is a tone on tone card that has just enough pattern, yet it still stands out.  Here are a few tips when using this die.  First I put a piece of cardstock shim on the outside of my "sandwhich" that seems to help "cut" the image better.  Second, once the doily is punched, use your bone folder and curl the doily with it (as though you were curling ribbon) and the pieces will fall out a lot easier.  Both of these tips came from some awesome sistas, thank you!  Sera
