A nice end to the month

Some months seem to linger on don't they? The weather never bothers me too much. I love the seasons and I love the change. I do enjoy winter and there has been a lot of winter to enjoy! I'm just excited for March! The end of February however, brings the birthday celebration of my oldest son, Kyle. He is 13 this year and while he is enjoying every bit of it... I'm taking it harder than turning 40! To brighten his day (and mine because I get to blog it) his aunt (and sista) Becky sent him this card. Pretty cool isn't it? He was impressed and said so aloud! "Great job, Becky!" There are all sorts of things happening on this card and it was a great surprise. There is nothing better than a handmade card! Thanks, Becky! Sera

Regional Swap!

This is Carolyn's swap from the MPLS regional. I love it! Carolyn is back with the group after a little hiatus. We are thrilled to have her back! I have some great pictures from the regional that I will share at a later date. You know the saying... my dog ate my homework, well she did. She ate my regional camera chip on Saturday. Every once in a while I can get a few pictures off of it, so I'll be sure to share as I figure it out. It was one of those weekends. At any rate, our group is growing! SAB Party Hearty

This awesome card is another swap card from pur group swap this month. This features the set Punch Bunch (121847) which is a SAB set this year. Each of the stamps in the set match nicely with a current Stampin' Up punch, a real time saver. Love that owl punch! Sera

In Color Cards

I spent some time today making some customer thank you cards. I saw an In Color idea on Jill Hillards blog and was inspired. I made 20 cards this afternoon and I put five cards together for a gift and I was all set. The poppy parade bunch is my favorite... and I even tried peach parfait. As you can tell, I am enjoying the snow. Thanks for looking! Sera

A My Digital Studio Post!

I finally created a notecard with MDS. This isn't going to win any contests, but I was working with all sorts of elements and landed on this after about an hour. Normally these fun projects are not going to take that long, but after downloading my first digital download today and then trying to find it... I was pleased I came up with something. It really is fun to use and with time I am going to love it. I'm not ready for printing or even sending, but posting I can do! I can only get better! This MDS package is in the So Much to Sale-A-Brate (123681) Digital Content CD found on page 7 of the SAB catalog. I even loaded a CD! Quite the busy day! Sera

Valentine treats!

Here are a few Valentine treats that we made with the Big Shot and the petal card die. The die is retired, but it is the best "valentine maker" (as my son calls it) that I know! We folded up two of the sides and it's an instant treat holder. Great for classrooms! Sera

This awesome card was made by sista Angie. Love it! There is something about that red glitter paper isn't there? I love it! Even my boys were fired up about it. Since we weren't allowed to put pink on their Valentine boxes... (by their request) I scored with the glitter paper. Angie used the color blushing bride on this card which looks awesome... that color is growing on me. Great job sista! Sera

Stamp sistas!

We had a great turn out at our sista meeting last night. It was great to spend time with everyone! We were able to welcome Tasha, Mary and Vicki last night and we had one guest Amber, who is a sista already. She just has to make it official! Thanks for all of the ideas and great swaps. I just went through them all and they are wonderful! I will share them this weekend. Oh and Kristine's swaps were in the mailbox when I got home, of course! Baby Landon

While the sistas were at Leadership, some close friends of ours welcomed Landon into the world... a little early. In fact, today was his due date. Cool! I made about 30 thank you cards for the family and here are a few designs. The DSP is retired, but it worked perfectly for this project and I was able to do all sorts of different combos. I do enjoy creating with the DSP for that reason, so many options! It turned out to be a great gift, along with a BFavre jersey of course. Sera
