It's official. The last few days (feel free to post after the 30th- we love these sets!) to post items from the current mini catalog which ends on Monday. This is a post-it note holder, size 3x3, with a die-cut bloom, some DSP and a rub on. Everything matches and inside (not pictured) are some cute apple post-it notes. Rumor is... we'll have a larger scallop, but these die-cuts work perfect too! Sera

More Die Cut Blooms
I'm back with the blooms baby. I needed a quick and easy thank you set and the Die Cut Blooms from the Occasions mini worked perfectly! Above is the finished set and below is a close up of a few.

I layered the blooms randomly and then used my paper piercer to poke a hole in the center of each stack for a gold brad. The {Thanks at the bottom of each is from the Hostess set Make It Count. Mounting the blooms on Whisper White paper just makes them "pop" don't you think? Love it when they come together so easy! ~Heidi

Pumpkin Pie Thank You
So this isn't really a bag, but I'm not a fan of the "p" word as you know so... this lovely sachel was inspired by the make & take we did at regional with the retired 12X12 paper that was there for us. I made this and (of course) the love notes to match- as well as envelopes. There are two compartments in this bag... LOVE THAT of course, as with any bag. I put the cards in the front and the envelopes in the back. Cute eh? I got this pack of pumpkin DSP for my birthday from sista Becky and I've used quite a lot of it. Also... this is the first ever flower fusion piece I have used. There is a die cut bloom in there as and it's held there with a gold brad. I just LOVE it when everything coordinates! Perhaps I should do a tutorial with this... my first one! As for my 3x3 spread, well I got side tracked! Sera

Macho Dad and a Glittery WOW
SMILE card is a glitter window technique (featured by a talented demonstrator at Milwaukee regional) that uses 5-petal flower punch, packing tape, cosmo glitter, wild wasabi, chocolate chip, soft sky textured, whisper white cs, afternoon tea ds paper, scalloped circle punch, vintage brads, canvas background, one of a kind, be happy stamp sets, wide chocolate grosgrain, coluzzle, paper piercing template and LOTS of dimensionals.
Fathers Day card inspiration was the envelope pocket card (also featured at Milwaukee regional). Colors used were mellow moss, so saffron, not quite navy, sahara sand (ink only for the star wheel on the bottom). Both star punches were used along with a so saffron brad and so saffron ds paper. I popped up both the star and the words & finished off with chocolate grosgrain. Mellow moss cs insert comes out for sentiment and greeting inside. My mom confirmed this envelope pocket card DOES fit into a regular A2 envelope with slight convincing at the top. Thanks for stopping by! ~ Angie

Fishin' Macho Man
I'm hosting a swap with some of my customers this month and the theme is birthday cards. One of these talented ladies, Terri, made this for the swap. Her featured set is On The Fly and the happy birthday greeting comes from a retired SU set. Cardstock is Always Artichoke, Night of Navy, Chocolate Chip and Naturals Ivory. Background is stamped w/ Always Artichoke; greeting and image are stamped w/ Basic Brown. Image is then watercolored with our awesome watercolor crayons. Love them, but dont' yet own a single one - what is wrong with me?! Photo corner punch is used to offset the main image - great look! She even stamped the inside with the awesome fish from this set and a birthday message in the same font as the greeting. It totally finishes off the card. Thanks for letting me share Terri!! ~Heidi

Macho, Macho, Man
I had this card in my mind and it semi-turned out the way I had hoped. I had the other DSP that matches the Wanted set in my head, but of course I don't have it currently. DSP Fall Flowers works! I was looking for the saloon theme card, doors opening, etc. I'm close. My son said I needed a gun stamp of some sort and that would help. Yea, thanks. I've been waiting for that occasion to use my Bronco wheel! Love that wheel! The belly band slides off and on, let's see how many of the dads I send this too figure that out. Most of them have stamping/creative wives, wink wink! Inside, the greeting is stamped from one of my fave retired sets, When I Grow Up. I don't have a current Father's Day greeting- whats up with that? Sera
