One more Valentine Tag!

I found one more picture and had to share. Love Valentine's Day! Time to start thinking more about Spring! And sistas, time to get ready for our 5th annual Stamp Escape. I'm having a great time putting it together. I can't wait to share. You are going to have a great time! Sera

Sweet Pea!

I love the Sweet Pea Stitched felt flowers. I used some DSP from the FREE pad, Welcome Neighbor and designed this cute and simple card. My club members loved it! If you are looking at the stitched felt, the flowers are very fun and there are many options, not all of them are pictured here. There is no stamping in this card of course, but there are so many cute elements to it that SU has us trying all sorts of new things... and we love 'em! Sera

Valentines

I haven't stamped for a while and had been eager to try working fabric into my card making, so, I made these 4 cards using various BigShot dies including the 5-point star that I used to make the heart. I dusted off the sewing machine to go around the outside of the fabric shapes and added some shapes (either punches or dies) and ribbon to complete the card. Can't forget that I used the stamp set (I {heart} Hearts) that part of the proceeds go toward aid for the Haiti earthquake relief. Love the set (got it in clear mount)! Hope you all had a really nice Valentines Day! That would make up for the grumpy one I had. ~Angie

Happy Valentine's Day!

I love this set! When we received this set FREE, Things I Love, at convention I thought it would be perfect for Valentine's Day! I spent some time with it this week and came up with this card for all of my Valentines. So fun! I hope you have some fun things planned with your loved ones on Valentine's Day! I plan to stamp, clean house and make a heart shaped pizza for my boys. Other than that, we are at basketball for 5 1/2 hours of the day. I love that too. I will still have Valentine things to share for a few more days, have I mentioned that this is one of my favorite stamping holidays? Sera

Gift Card Ensemble

I'm looking for different ways to "package" cards or give them away as gifts. I made this card set this morning with the SAB set, Happy Moments. There are four cards and matching envelopes that all coordinate with the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP. Of course you know that I love the polka dots so I had to make them a part of the gift. All of the cards have the same pattern, just different stamped images. The holder is a 8 1/2 by 11 full sheet that is folded at 2 1/2 inches on the long side. Fold that up and the piece becomes the "flap." I cut a V out of the center so everything fits in there a little nicer. Four cards are perfect, depending on how many layers there are to the cards. It took one hour for the whole works, not even actually, once I chose a design. Fun! Sera

Valentine Tag

I love Valentine's Day! I've been making tags and bags all week and some I've given away without taking pictures... oops! Stampers that have been around for a long time remember when SU sold tag sheets. I sill have a dozen or so sheets left. I took some of the larger ones and decided to jazz them up for holiday. I've told you that I have a huge stamp crush on the polka dot folder, I should try to put my clothes through that thing. At any rate, I just started putting all sorts of things together and here is one I came up with. LOVE THE BRADS! I made a few others. I know that my dear Valentine won't appreciate it as much as my friends will, but after I give it to him, technically I get to keep it then. Perks. Sera

A LOVEly Valentine

I'm pretty fired up about all the elements of this card. First, if you haven't tried the new satin ribbon, get some! It is such a nice quality, meaning it ties and cuts nicely and I like the finished look this ribbon gives projects. It's lickable. Another yummy item is the DSP of course, the sparkly feel and all of that. Also lickable. (That's the word I sometimes use when I love love love something). Nothing though compares to the polka dot embossing folder that is in the Occasions mini catalog. I love it. I caught one of my boys touching the "bumps" and saying, "Mom, this is pretty cool. Can I do it to one of the pages in my library book?" The fact that he knows where his library book is... is a minor miracle, however, to my knowledge the library book has been spared. Whew! I love Valentine's Day! Sera

Build-a-Valentine Garland!

Need I say more? This awesome garland was created by Sera using the SU BuildaBear die (and a few other dies) and given to Carmen in our "Hit Me With Your Big Shot" Valentine exchange. WAY CUTE! You inspire all of us Sera! Happy V-day to you all! ~Angie

Butterflies in February!

This wasn't the creation that I had at the start, but it turned out alright. There are too many things happening and the butterflies are all competing against each other, but I think I'm close. I used the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP for the envelope, I love that die! I had a bunch of these extra butterflies from Leadership, yes the ones that I was "punching out" in the car at 4am on the way to the airport. I'll keep working with it. I am such a brat when it comes to seasons. I love working with whatever is "next" not what is "current" as far as the colors go. I've had my fair share of the Winter colors and spring is so fun with the 10 feet of snow that is falling at the moment. I'm trying to coordinate this envelope into my Valentines some how, so stay tuned! Sera

It's good to be back!

Alright, I'm back. Looks as though we needed a little hiatus to get us back in the game. You know how that is! Above is a simps card that showcases this beautiful DSP in the Occasions Mini Catalog. This DSP, Sending Love Specialty is lickable, I kid you not. You can see a little shimmer on the pink piece... that's my fave so it deserved to take over the card. The hearts were punched with other pieces of the same DSP pack and placed on the bottom to break it up a bit. When we made this at my last workshop we decided it could work as a Valentine, but didn't scream Valentine's Day so it was a hit in that regard. Note: if you lick it, the paper doesn't have a taste (just so you know). The card looks better in person (don't they all?) but it is so much fun to stamp Valentineish things! Sera
